Civil Works Expo - Lardner Park, Warragul Victoria

Soilbond was applied to Avenue A used for the Heavy Truck Starting Area to suppress dust caused by frequent traffic movements under 30 km/h. Measuring approximately 300 m x 10 m the road was treated with two applications of Soilbond, 24 hours apart. The mixing ratio was 800 Litres of Soilbond to 6200 Litres of water.

Soilbond’s Stabiliser is ideal for median strips, road shoulders & maintenance projects

Median Strips, Kuringa Drive Canberra – ACT Government

The soil on the median strips at the intersection of Kuringa Drive & Owen Dixon Drives were stablilised with Soilbond. Over 3,000 litres Soilbond stabiliser was delivered to site, stockpile mixed and installed by BMD Constructions.

Kings Road, Taylors Lakes Stabilising Project - VicRoads

VicRoads approached Soilbond to provide a recommendation for stabilising the centre median strip along the Kings Road underpass at Taylor Lakes. The original project had been unsuccessfully repaired with cement stabilisation. The office at VicRoads Western contacted Soilbond to create a work scope in resolving the soil erosion issues at this site.

The project involved reconstituting and stabilising the existing median strip - using the existing and new Decomposed Granitic sand. Soilbond was added at a ratio of 3% with technical supervision and onsite assistance provided by Soilbond representatives.

Omeo Highway, Victoria – Patching Project

Sections of the Omeo Highway were repaired with Soilbond stabiliser as part of a maintenance project. A road profiler was used to rip up the asphalt in the affected areas. The Soilbond mixture was then applied insitu to the asphalt / road base mix before compaction with a roller.

Residential Driveway, Rural Northern Victoria

This residential driveway was stabilised with Soilbond over 10 years ago. The granitic sand materials were mixed with Soilbond stabiliser onsite then installed. Being a rural location the driveway carries both light and heavy vehicle traffic.
